The Denver International Airport is a major airline hub, the fifth busiest airport in the United States. The airport offers free wi-fi access in public areas and a diverse array of dining and shopping choices.

Visitor information may be found at VISIT DENVER’s Visitor Information Center, located in the Main Terminal Building on the 5th floor. Hours: 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., 7 days a week. *Guides, maps, and brochures are available 24 hours a day.

Getting around in Denver

The Denver Airport is located 22 miles from the hotel and the travel time is around 45 minutes.

Taxi: A number of taxi companies service the airport. Flat fares are available in the neighborhood of $53 one way. For information on specific companies, go to www.denver.org, click on Getting Around, click on Transportation.

Shuttle: Two companies are offering discounts for Shuttle service to downtown Denver – Big Sky Airport Shuttle and SuperShuttle.

Big Sky Airport Shuttle is offering a special rate of $18 one way and $24 round trip per person. Use this discount code – AEJMC – when booking online at www.bigskyshuttle.com Call 303-300-2626 or 1-877-336-8267 if you have any questions. After arriving in Denver, you may also purchase your tickets at the ticket counter inside the DIA terminal. The Big Sky Shuttle counter is located on level 5 (same as baggage claim) across from the tourist information booth and next to the RTD counter.

SuperShuttle is offering a special rate of $19 one way and $32 round trip per person. Use this discount code – UASLG – when booking online at www.supershuttle.com (or https://www.supershuttle.com/default.aspx?GC=UASLG). Passengers can also call 1-800-BLUEVAN (258-3826), give the code to the call takers and make discounted reservations. After arriving in Denver, you may also purchase your tickets at the ticket counter inside the DIA terminal. The SuperShuttle counter is located on level 5 (same as baggage claim).

Public Transportation: The city’s public transport system, Regional Transportation District (RTD), operates a frequent airport express bus service called skyRide.

skyRide buses run seven days a week, 365 days a year, and costs $10 from the airport to downtown. Drivers help loading and unloading bags.

Service operates from approximately 3:30 a.m. to 1:10 a.m. Schedules may vary. All buses are wheelchair accessible and equipped with bike racks. Discount fares, ticket books and passes are available. Find additional information at rtd-denver.com.

Downtown Denver Transportation: Denver Light Rail system offers more than 30 convenient stations on several lines. Convenient stations near the Sheraton Denver Downtown hotel are located at 16th Street & Stout, 16th Street & California and Union Station.
