UPDATE July 14, 2010: We’ve added an additional block of rooms at the Crowne Plaza.
The Crowne Plaza in Denver is located at 1450 Glenarm Place, Denver C 80202-5024. (The hotel is a 3-block walk from the Sheraton.) Rooms are available from Monday, August 2, through Sunday, August 8. Group rates are $144 single or double + current tax of 14.85%. Reservations should be made through 1 (877) 692-6161. Hotel direct is (303) 573-1450, but if someone is calling for reservations they will be transferred to the central number listed above.
UPDATE July 8, 2010: The block at the Sheraton has been sold out.
A block of rooms are available at the Hyatt Regency Denver which is a 3-to-4 block walk from the Sheraton. The block begins Monday, August 2, and ends on Sunday, August 8. Rates will be the same as at the Sheraton – $152 single/double, except triples will be $177, quads $202. (Tax is 14.85%.) Reservations may be made by calling 1 (800) 233-1234 and referencing the group name, AEJMC.
Members Encouraged to Seek Alternate Housing
Members are encouraged to pursue alternate housing on their own. Denver.org has a housing link that is an option. If members choose that route and discover alternate housing and wish to share that information with fellow members, we encourage use of the AEJMC Denver Message Board where members may post their own updates under the heading, “Where to Stay?”
